We are taking you to a small trip through history. Ramada Plaza By Wyndham İstanbul City Center is located at the heart of İstanbul, Halaskargazi Road. Throughout history, there were many other places where the hotel stands on now such as, High Life Patisserie, Pangaltı Hammam, Tan Cinema and Tunç Cafeteria. However, the first and maybe the most important one of them was Pancaldi Garden.
Giovanni Battista Pancaldi who was a levantine who immigrated from Bologna to İstanbul was the owner of this garden and named the place after himself. Over time, it became the most popular place in the neighbourhood. Eventually, the neighbourhood was called as Pancaldi. The name was changed into a different version in time, now known as Pangaltı.
Aside from keeping the name alive today, Pancaldi Restaurant has a rich menu that combines modern and traditional food and takes you to a journey of full flavour.
